PREVEZE Class TCG 18 Mart Submarine Ship Half-Life Modernization Project
In submarines, the electrical energy (Direct Current-DC) obtained from the diesel engine is used for propulsion. Electrical energy is collected in batteries and transmitted to the electric motors. Since the diesel engine cannot operate underwater (due to the air required for the diesel engine to operate), electric motors provide movement.
Our 1500 Lt/Min Compact Water-Cooled High Pressure Air Compressor has been used in the TCG 18 Mart (S-355) Submarine Ship within the scope of the Water-Cooled Compressor Integration Project carried out in our R&D Center so that it can be used in submarines that require high starting torque and where Direct Current (DC) is available.
